Warrenville, IL (PRWEB) February 17, 2012

Enter CoffeeCON 2012, Kevin Sinnott’s creation. In the sleepy Chicago suburb of Warrenville, Illinois, he unveils this special day-long consumer coffee conference on Saturday, February 25, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., at the IBEW building, 28600 Bella Vista Parkway.

“Coffee is better than wine,” says two-time coffee author and brewing expert Kevin Sinnott. “But, wine comes ready to drink. Popping a cork is easy and screw tops even easier. Coffee must be prepared moments before consumption. Most home brewers destroy the subtle flavors. I’m making it my mission in life to give people a chance to learn how to appreciate coffee and how to brew it. More people have had good wine than good coffee.”

This coffee-obsessive is creating the ultimate first-ever consumer coffee conference that is drawing top experts from around the world to create a coffee university where they will teach every brewing method available.

For years there have been conventions for coffee buyers, sellers and shopkeepers, but nothing for people who just drink coffee, says Sinnott.

While the quality of beans has increased the ability to brew great coffee, it can often be a mystery to the average person. Then there are the coffee connoisseurs who want to expand their palates and knowledge of brewing styles but can’t experience everything, even at local roaster seminars.

The French press can make or break your coffee if youve never learned to use it properly, Sinnott explained. Most automatic drip coffeemakers dont get water hot enough. Or they expose the grounds to hot water long enough to extract bitterness. Then the consumer backs off the coffee formula and ends up with weak, bitter coffee.

At CoffeeCON 2012, Sinnott is creating something for everyone.

Hands-on labs will be available to learn all the latest methods of Slow-Brew, including Chemex, French Press, Hario Drippers, and Syphon/Vacuum methods. Even Mustafa Arat of Turkish Coffee World in California has been invited to demonstrate how to make authentic Turkish coffee.

George Howell of Boston, one of the founding fathers of specialty coffee, will teach seminar attendees how to become discriminating coffee tasters. They will taste six coffees from around the world and catch the difference between new crop and past crop, ripe and unripe.

Home espresso expert Jim Schulman will teach Basics to Third Wave in his class. Participants will find their home espresso greatly improved after attending.

Geoff Watts, vice president of coffee at Intelligentsia Coffee and Tea will speak on what conditions lead to great coffee and the impact of quality at every stage from farm to cup.

BUNN will premiere the BUNN

Between a Hollywood superstar and a voice actor, the latter actually works harder. It is quite tough for a voice actor to put feelings and emotions to what he is reading, all the while knowing that he’s not seen on screen. He must get into the skin of the character and pump life into the dialogues. This is where voice over training comes into play.

Voice over artists are able to master the craft of voice acting and find good employment in this field by going through voice over training. Thousands of animated TV shows, cartoons, radio advertisements, web shows and movies are produced on a regular basis. Take note that about 20 to 30 characters make up the cast of a single movie or TV show. There are worldwide opportunities galore for a voice actor.

Basic skills needed to join a voice over training course

Diction is one of the most important tools of the trade. The student must have perfect enunciation and therefore must attend speech classes to get his diction right. Every voice over actor has two roles to fulfill – “lending voice” and “acting.” This means that getting a perfect diction is not enough to be able to join a voice over training, enrolling in an acting course is also necessary for the student.

What’s taught in a voiceover training course

The student learns how to analyze and interpret commercial copy for announcer and real-person roles. He also comes to understand how to interpret narrative copy and gets the hang of technical copy as well. The course educates the student how to efficiently coordinate mind, mouth and voice so that he can sound true to his character. The student also learns how to take direction.

Reading, recording, play back, and listening are done continuously in an excellent voice talent training course. This is done in order for students to get it correctly. Students learn techniques such as inflection, timing and articulation. They perform warm-ups and vocal exercises as well. They understand how to preserve their voice health. When students are already half-way into the voice over training program, they become competent at using and adjusting pitch, tone, volume and delivery speed to cater to numerous types of jobs.

Once a student completes the training, he learns how to market his skills, tap proper contacts, and land voice over work. The course instructors also help them create a voice over demo for their portfolio. A solid voice over training course gives students the opportunity to work in a real studio and understand what they must and shouldn’t do in a sound booth and when behind the microphone.

Selecting a voice over training course

There are two facets to voice training. Students who are attracted in selling must opt for a commercial voice over course. Commercial voice overs are employed for selling. Several of the areas that require this type of voice overs are radio ads, TV advertisements, phone and other media features. Selling skills are also covered by a voice over course considering that all commercial voice overs sell a service or a product. Acting skills are not dealt with by this course. Students who are interested in showbiz must opt for a TV and movie voice over and dubbing program. Lip-synching is required by such courses, hence, the voice over talent also needs to master acting skills.

To conclude, all the world’s a stage and we must play a part. So if you would like to be a voice talent, and you want to learn how to raise your voice, better enroll in a reputable voice actor training course.

Question by starlight73008: Looking for reasonable websites with shopping carts. One was /mo but can’t remember it?
I found a website creator on the web where there is a shopping card and all. It was done for moms and stay at home moms, etc. I cannot recall the lady’s website that put the websites together. I would like to see if anyone knows of it because she was very reasonable, about $ 12.00 a month for hosting, etc.

Best answer:

Answer by americanfishing.net
Most hosting providers now provide a free shopping cart such as Miva or OsCommerce.

You will still have to buy things such as Merchant account or go through Paypal to accept the money.

A good suggestion would be the Yahoo shops or something similiar if you arent very computer savvy.

Our creative and technical ninjas, at digital marketing firm DP&C, created a custom Twitter profile presence for Ali Davies as part of an overall branding and social media presence project that also included the build of a hybrid blog site built on our favorite kick @ss technology – WordPress.

Social Media ROI Politics
www.intersectionconsulting.comSocial media metrics are important – but I also believe that not everything you do needs to have a firm number attached to it to make it beneficial to your business.

This most recent point was pounded home in a classic Social ROI rant by David Meerman Scott. Two things David said really resonated with me:

1. Most companies don’t measure ROI (actual return on investment) with their existing marketing programs. For example, how many organizations know the real return of print ads, PR campaigns, press releases, trade shows, brochures, etc?

2. The ROI chatter masks a fear of the unknown. Businesses that don’t (or choose not to) understand social media discount its value based on the ROI argument – while continuing to spend on old marketing that, in most cases, is not measurable either.
